Cherry Mobile seems to reveal the gem family in a monthly manner. This time, CM revealed their new smartphone Topaz, pricey name but with an affordable price of Php2,299.

As seen on the image, Cherry Mobile let's us have a peek on what we will expect on their upcoming five additional smartphone members of their gem family.

Official release date on the market is not yet reveled.

LaCie's 2TB Fuel Wi-Fi external storage for £189

Seagate's LaCie boosts their 1TB Fuel Wi-Fi external storage to 2TB and said they have the highest capacity wireless 2.5-inch drive you can see in the market.

Files can be easily accessed by up to five devices through its own Wi-Fi network. Files can be dragged and dropped to an icon that can be seen as an external device on on desktops or laptops. Accessing the Fuel external storage by using USB 3.0 cable is also possible to speed up the file transfer.

1080p video files that are streamed from the external storage may be lagging to view or may not play at all because of its high bandwidth requirement.

You can also provide a Dropbox folder to transfer and sync files on your Fuel. Their is also a supplied Seagate app that can move files from your desktop to the Fuel which provides file syncing.

Using the Fuel ran by its battery can last up to 10 hours. You can pre-order LaCie from their online store for £189, and the 1TB version costs £169. So £20 won't hurt for the extra 1TB.

Nokia X Price, Specs and Availability

Nokia has recently introduced in the Philippines on March 11 their budget-friendly 'Android' smartphone, the Nokia X.

Nokia reshaped the Android on their Nokia products by replacing any related Google services to Nokia and Microsoft's own apps like Google Play is changed to Nokia Store and Gmail is replaced by Outlook, etc.

Nokia priced the smartphone at Php 5,990 and Nokia X is now available at Kimstore available in Green, Red, Cyan, Yellow, Black, White color variants.

Nokia's other X line Android smartphones, X+ and XL will be launched in dependent on market demand said Gary Chan Nokia’s head of marketing for the Pan-Asia market.

Unlimited LTE by Smart Communications is extended until September 30, 2014!

A huge relief for rapid LTE users now that Smart recently confirmed that their unlimited LTE service is extended until the 30th of September 2014. According to unbox.ph which is the source of this article, they have reached out to the telco and confirmed if the news is really legit.

We'll just see in the next succeeding months if Smart still plans to extend the unlimited LTE service after September.

By 2019, one-third of the subscribers will experience LTE-Advanced with peak download speeds of 1 Gbps and average download speeds of 100 Mbps to 300 Mbps and uploads of 10 to 70 Mbps.

Korea's SK Telecom has launched the world's first commercial LTE-Advanced network and gained a total of 1 million subscribers.
